Proposition - I am Affirmative.
Resolved: That the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan ought to be sent home within a year.
(I didn't choose the proposition, my teacher assigned it to us.)
So my question is: Can you help me choose some good arguments for my debate? (Even if you don't agree with that statement, please help me.) Perhaps you have some general, minor debate tips for me?
I really don't like public speaking (my mom signed me up for this class): because I get nervous in front of people.
