I am actually only 14 right now, but when I am older I would like to make some extra cash from teaching violin to beginners. I have been taking violin lessons (Suzuki method) since I was 7 years old, and I won a state-wide contest a few years ago. I've taught some of my friends to play some simple songs on the violin, too, so I know that I am a pretty good teacher. I would also preferably teach little kids like up to age 8, as I won't be too old myself.
So I was wondering 1. How old should I be to start teaching?
2. How can I learn to teach violin in the meantime?
3. How could I attract students?
and 4. How much should I charge?
Please just try and answer as many of these questions as you can, and add anything else you think I may need to know. Thank you!
