i have been wanting to start my own dog walking/sitting business for a little while now. i have a good job and i like it, but i would really, really like to do this. i love dogs and i think it would be good for my own dog. but, given the way the economy is right now, i'm not sure if this is a smart move right now. if i were to start my own dog walking business does anyone have any tips on how to go about it. ex: start up fees i should expect, do i need any type of licensing, how much should i charge, etc. it will probably be a couple years before i would do this because i know i'll have to save money for startup. if anyone has experience doing this have you had any major difficulties starting up and then maintaining your business as a dog walker/sitter?
