My engine has a lot of miles on it and I was wondering about the possibly of buying a used engine. From what some mechanics were telling me it seems like I could just buy a used engine for cheaper than fixing mine. Any tips on possible costs, ie installation. I don't know what a good price is, what model of engine or where a good place to buy a used engine is. I live in Frederick Maryland.
