Tips for buying a street bike?

I'm 16 and I've been riding motorcycles for a while now. I'm looking for a street bike. I don't care how fast it goes, but it has to be cool-looking. I am somewhat on a limited budget, also. Are there any suggestions on what bike to get?
 
go on craigs list there are tons of bikes on their for all prices.....dont go with a sport bike or street bike get a cruiser and pipe it either a big V-Twin or a Parallel Twin or even some 4 cylinders can be loud and fast.....just dont get a rocket those are toys and should fit under lead laws along with 110cc 4 wheelers
