I'm currently a junior in college working on my BFA in photography. I haven't got into studio lighting yet, so I am short that skill... but I've been doing a little freelance stuff lately for friends and relatives like engagement parties and senior pictures and the results have come out rather well, they have been very happy with the work... so it's encouraged me to maybe get a little more serious about it and trying to make some more money out of it. I shoot with a 5D and currently only have the 18-55mm lens that I got with it because I can't afford anything else, but I've been thinking about renting something else out. Also just ordered a portable reflector.
I just want some helpful advice about starting out doing this. Basic equipment necessary, etiquette, pricing, advertising stuff like that. Like a little mini starters guide. I'd really appreciate it, thanks!
Also interested in doing some music photography.
