My boyfriend/fiance have been together for over 2 years now. We have a daughter that is 14 months old. Anyways, my b/f's mother is the type who voice's her opinion and makes sure that her way is the right way and blah, blah, blah. She completely shuts you out. My b/f and his mother got into in one day and are both are holding a grudge against each other and they haven't talked probably since our daughter was 6 months old. She wanted him to do her some favor, um like building on to her house, when he was already working 5 days a week. She wanted him to come over everyday to work on this big project. She has the money to actually hire people to do it for her. And she doesn't work, just blows cash on all this junk collection dust in her house. She spends about $2000 a year on this trip she goes down to every year, Then she started complaining the reason why she wanted him to build and addition was so she could rent out the top half b/c she is running low on money! (if she wouldn't spend so much all the time she would have some!!). She even threatened to move in w/ us!!
She lives about 10 miles away. I tried to set up times to come visit, b/c of my daughter's sake, (she needs to know her grandma.) But she never even calls or even returns mine!! She never showed up for her 1 year birthday. I tired to get my boyfriend to reconcile w/ her but he won't do it!! Any advice? They are very stubborn!!
Also his sister and her daughter lives w/ her and she's been shuting us out too!!
