Tingling in face after drinking coffee

I've been drinking coffee for many years now. I occasionally have one small cup in the morning, maybe three times a week at the most. About a month ago, all of a sudden I started getting a strange tingling sensation in my face after I drink it. I don't experience this at any other time.

Anyone have any idea why this could be happening? It's very strange.
