had laminectomy 18 months ago for spinal stenosis. can stand and walk longer than pre-surgery, but still weak going up stairs and a lot of tingling in arches/ankles. any ideas for help?

Did you do and form of physical therapy after surgery? You could do simple exercises to strenthen your legs, like, standing on the last step, going down on one leg, touching the ground fully flat foot, then putting the foot back up again on the step, and do that repetively for 30x each leg. that should help the weakness.

As for the tinglies, it seems nerve related, check dermatomes and see if where it's tingling co-incides with where your surgery was, you could ask your dr for neurontin if its bad enough and bothering you that much, or lycria, to help block the nerve pains.
