hi. I have a 1991 chevy z24 3.1 V6. the problem is that it bogs out around 3,000 rpm i have replaced the plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, and even the battery. with out fixing the problem. however it has alot more whip now lol.
the engine runs smooth and never backfires, put your hand on it and can barley feel a vibe. you can still squeal the tires from a stop.
also the tranny works good, and it will still give me the bog down when not in gear moving or parked.
the only thing i can think of is the timing belt slipped but i don't know where to find it to take a look and adjust if needed.
If you can tell me in detail where i may find it in my 3.1 that would be awesome!
