Hey all,
I was wondering if there is any rhyme or reason as to when side effects begin to occur over the course of taking certain prescription drugs. I went to an ENT last week for a problem with my throat, and he prescribed a two-week course of penicillin. About a week into the course (this Monday) I started having feelings of general achy-ness, some fatigue, and a headache. I don't feel absolutely horrible, but it's enough to cause a distractrion during daily activities.
I was wondering if the side effects could crop up days after initially beginning the medication, and whether it was worth mentioning to my doctor. I don't think I'm allergic to pencillin, as I've taken it before without problem.
