timing belt 2001 honda civic?

How many miles does a timing belt on a 2001 honda civic last, and when should I change it?
 
Timing belts usually last about 120k miles . They cost a lot of cash to replace it.If you have the 200-300$ i have it changed at or about the 120-130k mile mark And do the water pump while they are at it. since its right there and wouldn't cost but a few more $

I think the factory service is around 110K. I would suggest having it done at the dealership...will cost extra $$$ but will be worth the quality labor.

Make sure you replace the timing belt tensioner, the timing belt, water pump, and all the engine seals on that side of the block.

Dealership will likely run you $5-600 for the above. It will be more if you replace the other two belts.
