Hey All,

To slightly improve my bikes sound (Suzuki C50T), I'm thinking of drilling holes in the exhaust pipes donut ring. Does anyone know of a good source (video, book or website) for instructions? Also, is there any risk to safety and performance with drilling holes in the exhaust (stock pipes)?

How old is your bike? If it's still under warranty (and if that's important to you) drilling holes in the pipes may void the warranty.

I would either debaffle or put new pipes on. I don't like the thought of drilling holes. The debaffling sounds great on the C50. Go to youtube and search c50 debaffling. I have a C90 and I had to buy new pipes- Cobras- LOVE THEM!!!

Oh goodie, another loud pipe discussion. Where is Ken? Maybe he gave up on these threads?? I like um relatively loud but not so much as to disturb the neighbors. Ah heck, I honestly like ear piercing and bleeding loud......

It is customizing season for me so this winter my 1st projects are new shifter and brake pegs and install a HD flip top keyless ignition. The pegs are not quite done yet. I need to install a brass tip and will be using these O'rings, red or black.
