time off between indoor and outdoor?

a week and a half ago i finished indoor track and i havent run since. my coach told me to not run at all until the beginning of outdoor track (March 9th). will taking off for 3 weeks make me out of shape?

i also ran xc this fall.
 
three weeks sounds too long to me, assuming you are a distance runner.

I would have probably gotten in some mileage during every week. How much depends on what your mileage was in indoor.

I would probably go out for some easy runs. I probably wouldn't bother with speed workouts.
