Time keeps on slippin'

Trust me, I think I win at the race for the biggest procrastinator.

This last school year I did nothing until the last minute. All year long I have been playing computer games and goofing off. I knew that the work load that I would have to finish at the end of the year would be gigantic and it was in fact gigantic time ten. But, I think the procrastination comes with simple fact that we are not being challenged enough. When I go to school I can sleep all day long and then do all my work in approximately 1 hour at the most. Last semester I was taking English at the University and I was supposed to write essays and do research and all this stuff but I just decided to "wait it out" until the last minute every single time.

Instead of writing the have-to-be 6 page reports, I would play games, go hang out with friends and all that stuff. At 12:01 a.m. I would begin my papers the exact same day they were due. I would be limited to 6 hours of structuring and refining my papers while being dead tired. It is really a challenge. I did that all semester and still came out with an A. For government class, I read the chapters 90 minutes before the professor came to administer the tests. Even on my final. I made an A in that class too.

The point of the story is, I think that I just love to be challanged and so I procrastinate until the last minute to see if I can do a shit load of stuff in a inkling of time as some sort of enhancement for the game.

It was only when I found a girl that I liked, who always called me lazy and a couple of teachers as well (not that liked) always calling me lazy that I decided that my greatest challenge would be to overcome procrastination. So by deciding that a "challenge" would be overcoming this procrastination of mine. I was able to use my love of challenges to overcome the procrastination and now I have way to much "free" time because I have done everything that I can do as far as life (as in getting a job, car, clothing blah blah) and school goes. I "party" 24/7 now. It's almost sickening.

As for the sleeping disorder. I had one too, because of all the "all nighters" that I pulled. What you do is stay awake for 2 full days and on the third day you go to bed at a really early time such as 7 o'clock. The following night try to go to sleep at 8 or 9 o'clock, with no naps during the day and getting up at 6 a.m. sharp. If you can't get to sleep take some benedryl(sp?). From there things will work themselves out naturally.

Trust me, when I read this thread I was like "wtf, when did I write this". I have been there.
