I currently have a Motorola Q global, and I'm pretty happy w/the windows mobile OS. I've seen what 6.5 can do and it looks amazing.
So here's the basics of what I require:
- Windows Mobile
- Touch screen
- Slider (so I have a tactile pad and a large screen)
- wifi
- GPS
The obvious choice is the Tilt 2, but there are a few qualms I have with it. It seems it's only a half a Ghz processor when the salesman told me it was a 1 Ghz proc. Also, it has no internal memory to start with, and it only has a 3.2mp camera.
The other two I was looking at were the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2a and Samsung OmniaPRO B7610. The xperia x2a isn't out yet though, and I imagine they're both quite pricey compared to what I can get the Tilt 2 for. I like the OmniaPro because it comes w/2GB of memory and has great battery life, but the XPERIA is way more advanced w/a 1ghz proc and an 8.1mp camera with image stabilization (kind of a big thing for me because my hands are a bit shaky all the time...).
So the question is, should I wait for the XPERIA? How likely am I to get a decent price on this or the OmniaPro? Of course I'm asking this in the ATT forum because that's my carrier...
If anyone has any input or other phones that you think might fit my requirements, please let me know! Here's where I'm getting my info on these phones:
