Tim & Lyla (FNL) - Because she is the best he has ever had

So true - he always put her first :sigh: Ultimately, at least.

But yes, there is something so genuine about that moment - their hug is so beautiful. How they are both holding on tighter and tighter.

:in_love:

They had so much chemistry. I do think that is one of the reasons why the writers went with them after season 1. Though we will never know. Because after the affair and all that drama. They were just dropped. I thought in season 2 they were going to go back to Jason/Lyla and probably Tim/Tyra. I was pleasantly surprised they had Tim tell Lyla she was the best he ever had.

Tim had it bad for Lyla. That was so obvious from the beginning and Lyla was better at hiding her feelings. Tim always wore his feelings for Lyla on his sleeve. Everyone could see it.

After watching Tim be depressed and miserable for 2 seasons it was great seeing a happy Tim in season 3 with Lyla.

It's been so long since I've watched this show. I really need to rewatch the first 3 seasons.

Katims and Peter are trying to get everyone back for the movie. AND SURPRISE.. they mention Lyla. 'Bout time somebody did.

That was such a sweet moment. It seemed like the entire town was against her and Tim was the one that cared enough to convince her to keep going.

I was so effing excited when I saw that scene. Because the S2 finale didn't really leave us with much indication of what was gonna happen between them. I wish we could've seen that summer of Tim wooing Lyla.

They really did have so much chemistry.

The line that will always break my heart:
"What do you want?"
"You."
"What else do you want?"
"....... you."

Ugh, can I cry forever at that? :'(

I love how although Tim always had this tough exterior, we were able to see this completely different side of him come out with Lyla. A side that made him want to be a better person, where we got to see become vulnerable, and it's a side that I only saw come out with her. What they had was really beautiful. He loved her so badly, that much was obvious. She definitely was the love of his life.

Ikr? That will always bug me.
