There is a ticking sound from directly behind the cadillac converter on my vehicle.
It only ticks after the car is shut off (duration about 10 min.).
I think that it is just the pipe cooling off, but I want the noise to stop.
So, would replacing the pipe directly behind the converter fix the noise?
Normal, meaning not going to mechanically cause a problem, yes. But, I am sure that the car didn't not come like this from the manufacturer, so I want to (((((((Fix The Noise))))))... It is annoying!
