Ticking noise when my car ideals.Toyota Rav 4- 1996?

I have a 1996 Toyota Rav 4 4cylinder when my car ideals i hear a ticking but after i change the oil its gone? i only have 76'000 always change the oil on time. It runs well and Toyota never comented on the noise?What could this noise be?
