Wow, I can relate to someone on hear! I had half my thyroid removed a little over four years ago and I must say that I did feel relieved a lot because my goiter was growing downward and it had my windpipe bent out of shape. My hair and the fatigue had gotten a whole lot better but my hair never really recovered. It wasn't until about 2 to 2.5 years ago that my hair, gaining more weight, fatigue, sensitive skin, constipation, and so on started getting worse. I have been back to the doctors a couple of times and they say that my TSH of 3.06 is normal. According to the new TSH levels it is not. I am waiting to see the endo in September (been waiting for this appt. since the first of June). I have lost all of my hair almost and I am always tired and gaining weight, my blood pressure has been up and the constipation is horrible at times. I was never put on meds. After your surgery were you ever put on meds? I sometimes feel like no believes me and that it is all in my head. I wish you the best of luck in finding someone to listen and I hope you get well. Whatever do not give up! I will find someone to listen.
