About a year ago I was diagnosed with hyperactive thyroid and have been medicated on a low dosage ever since. I noticed allot of my symptoms related to hyperactive thyroids decrease, however I sill continue to have terrible mood swings. It was a problem before medication and before being diagnosed, but i assumed it would decrease with my other symptoms. Does anyone struggle with this and have advice. I find myself very agitated and cranky at times and excuse myself from situations so i can avoid conflict. Other times i am depressed for a moment and then i could be the happiest person in the world. I am literally across the board with different moods. Mostly i struggle with being upset one day to being angered for no apparent reason the next.
