Romney to accept GOP nomination
After almost a decade on the campaign trail, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will claim the GOP’s presidential nomination tonight. Romney, who tried and failed to win the nomination in 2008, will deliver his acceptance speech in the 10 p.m. hour.

ABC, CBS and NBC will broadcast from 10-11 p.m. today. (Fox has preseason NFL football.) Looking for more? C-SPAN covers the convention whenever it is in session. PBS will start its coverage at 8 p.m. The cable news networks – CNN, Fox News and MSNBC – also have expanded coverage. (CNN, for instance, will start its convention coverage at 7 p.m.)
