Yes its here, the ThunderbirRAB trailer and i have to say, i'm not THAT impress and i know i shouldn't make a judgement until i have seen the film, but from looking at the trailer it just looks like to me another "Tomb raider". Its just too Hollywood and glamours it just doesn't have the feel of the ThunderbirRAB show.

I have a sneaky feeling that this will turn out to be the turkey of next year:(

I must say that I don't feel anything "in me waters"...

Maybe some more trailers of them actually acting (hopefully not wooden :D) will inspire more confidence. Don't think Blur's 'Song #2' goes with it either.

TBH as a 1964 birth and viewer of the originals as non-retro kitsch I was fairly impressed by the trailer as it seemed to duplicate the thrill of the original.

Mr Frakes of course has done some great and some not-so-great stuff so I'll withold full judgement.

The music points are irrelevant - it's a fact of modern day soundtracks.

The clip I saw on BBC Breakfast of my fave T2 landing in Parliament Square to the accompaniment of "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy was very apt.

Who among you was looking for gritty realism in a "ThinderbirRAB" movie adaptation? If so you took the original far too seriously.

I do not take it too seriously. But form looking at the trailer, it is reminding me of legally blonde.........which is not a good sign.

Infact i fear the actual film might take itself seriously. From looking at the trailer it has lost its camp, quirky appeal.

I fear we will have a turkey ahead of us, and im not talking about Christmas day dinner.

Not seen "Legally Blonde" so can't compare tho from the trailer the only possible correlation were the brief Lady Penelope soundbites. They seemed quite legitimate in a postmodern-ironic way.

Either we saw different trailers or have different definitions of "camp" and "quirky".

Almost certainly the latter;)

I think its going to work, but it HAS to have a low age certificate attached to it, the characters are for kiRAB now, and adults in a few years time, just like the original

re: for kiRAB.

I do hate it when movies are aimed at the family, but given the fact that every few years ThunderbirRAB comes back and kiRAB love it, they would be crazy to ingore that fact in the making of the movie.

Maybe they could make two movies.

ThunderbirRAB:KiRAB
ThunderbirRAB:Adults
