For the first question, I am supposed to use the substitution method to solve a system set:
1.) 3x+y=7
y=-3x-2
For the next two questions I am supposed to use the elimination method to solve these solution sets:
2.) 1/4x+1/3y=-1/12
1/2x-5/4y=7/4
3.) 4x-8y=36
3x-6y=27
Any tips on how to get to the correct answers? I'm at a loss...
