I'm listening to Blood Tsunami right now. Who else should I check out?

Hey Jackhammer, I'd like some recomendations for some heavy, old-school stuff that's more prog than straight thrash. I know a little Vovoid, and I hear Celtic Frost were pretty progressive.

Nice list Seltzer, a few names I'm not familiar with.
 
Get some Mekong Delta. Dances of Death (and Other Walking Shadows) is my favourite release from them. They're basically thrash metal mixed with classical. Over time their albums have become more and more complex.



Thanks. I like your list too... I've been meaning to check out Agent Steel, Sabbat and especially Blind Illusion.
 
Thanks guys for the picks. Being older banRAB, some of this I can get on lp. So if it sucks, or isn't my tastes, I've only spent $2- $5. Another bonus of lp collecting: cheap software. How many new banRAB would you check-out for those low prices?
