Murdered by Light
A moon like fire attacked the night
kissing the sky just like former years
before stabbing it with arrays of light
and swallowing the sea that holds all tears
Submissive shadow now flee from me
I have nothing but this knowledge
that this light will be the death of me
before I suffer through nostalgia
after the night caresses me gingerly
before leaving me in bondage
the light that murdered me
came from behind
while meditating
it penetrated my entire mind
Inserting in me demons wearing white
turning the world into all that's despised
where hope is not found nor love is in sight
nor any light that emits from the eyes
The light and I now formed together
like one flame that will continue to burn
as one soon to be forgotten forever
just two shadows that will never return
Don't really like it that much, but want to hear an unbiased opinion. thanks
