Hi all, I have been considering going to MMI, but am not sure if it's the right school for me... I don't want to graduate and work as a tech, I want my own shop! Right now I work with sport bikes, buy them wrecked and rebuild them... But I do it all by sitting in the shop for hours studying a dealer book and trying to figure it out and want to know what I am doing so I can get things done faster! I have been told MMI teaches you just the bare basics (oil changes and tune ups...) but I already know how to do all that! So if you've been, did the school teach you enough that you could get out there and start your own shop?? Like can you swap frames and work on engines? How about suspension?
Thanks!
Thanks!
