thoughts on a 2" spacer lift for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler?

Im wanting to get a 2" coil spacer lift from Skyjacker for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L. I really want to put Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires on it but the smallest size they come in is a 31" and i have heard that 30" is the tallest that i can put on a stock 2000 Wrangler. this is one reason i want the lift (so the tires dont rub). I also think the little extra lift will give it a more powerful looking stance. Has anyone had bad experiences with a 2" spacer lift? good experiences? are there extra parts i need to buy? (the kit comes with spacers shocks and bump stops). i also heard that they will just fall out if im offroading and the springs stretch far enough but im not sure i believe that.

you can lift your jeep up with spring spacers they go on top of springs and they will not come out go to Jc whitney .com they are cheep
 
spacer lifts are crap for long term use but i wouldent be bothered by using them for a short amount of time ie a year but if your planing on going offroad at all thats for sure not the way to go. try going to google and search jeep forums theres a million an one answers to this question.
