Sony Walkman has turned 30 years old today. Thirty years ago, the device was revolutionary changed the way people listened to music. Sony sold 30,000 Walkmans in the first two months after its launch, and 50 million within a decade. It created the portable media player market. Three decades on, however, Sony is struggling against rivals such as Apple, which has enjoyed immense success with its iPod music player. Apple iPod might be the market leader today. While people celebrate Walkman

I have always use this nidesoft dvd ripper tool for enjoying movies and videos. You could download it for a trial. After using it for a period, I have found ripping protected dvd files is its characteristics . Trimming, cropping and merging into complete one with good quality and small size is also its advantage. Any formats are supportable.

Lets not forget, Apple is the current fad. If you have anything Apple, no matter how useless it is. You are "cool"

Personally for me, I love my Old w580i before it went through the wash, music playback was great, video decent. And it was tiny! I also hate touch scroll wheels, I just love mechanical scrolls(IE Blackjac 2).

ipod dominate the market because more advanced in the technology, and perhaps also because a lot of answering the market needs.

Sony kinda took it for granted that nothing was going to displace them from the top and stopped paying enough attention to developing the Walkman to the new generations liking. I loved my first walkman when I got it but the iPod changed the way I looked at my walkman. And I think the same goes for many.
