before i flipped the linkage i was finding a false neutral between 2nd and 3rd on the track all the time

after i did the flip it is much more positive, love it!!

it is so much easier on the gas to just bang it down, makes short shifting between corners a breeze.

i won't be trying any other aftermarket reverse shifter, the flipped linkage works great for me, didn't cost anything either

It is indeed! I got a steering damper right after I did that because I'd get headshake from high RPM hard upshifts. Total awesomness!

Hey when you're on the track are you covering over the top of the shifter (for an upshift)?.... and just underneath when you need to downshift? Balls of the feet on the pegs the rest of the time? I know the question is situationally based, but I was just wondering.

unless i'm changing gear i'm pretty sure balls of feet are on the pegs all teh time

Bikemaster, not secured to anything, just on the garage floor. Never had any issues with stability, my bike is always in the wheel chock when not riding - much easier than futzing around with the rear wheel stand.
