I have never been able to get a straight answer as to why so many restaurants in the Phoenix, AZ area do not open for lunch on weekends. This is not true of other large cities. There are restaurants in downtown and center city Philadelphia who are open for lunch 7 days a week, and they are always busy. If this is because Phoenix restaurants would not benefit because they do not have the customers on weekends, then why is this? What actually causes people in one part of the country to dine out for lunch on weekends and not so in another?
This question is for any restaurant owners/managers in the Phoenix, AZ area...?
