this probably sounds ignorant but how do i replace a sim/chip for i870 sprint nextel?

it seems to be damaged .... (more than likely).... i've tried it on different phones ... and i don't think newer phones are the problem !! .. so i would suspect this is the the only problem.... stupid sim card.. what do i do ...
