This precedent was set, and passionately embraced, with prohibitions on Marijuana

and Steroids. Too late now? http://www.myfoxboston.com/dpp/news/national/cameras-videotape-the-eating-habits-of-school-children-20110512

Soon, we must enact legislation requiring citizens to submit to government regulation (fines or jail time for non-compliance) of diets.

Surely, we can't disagree with government protecting our children, and us, from excessive calories. We've allowed government to protect us from so many other things: why stop now?

We allow government to force us to wear seat belts (for our safety), prevent us from using steroids (for our health), and prohibit certain kinds of cigarettes (for our health and safety).

I'm quite certain we can all get cozy with government protecting us from one more thing.
Besides, you know you're eating too much, and you know you're not exercising enough.

Do you want to DIE from one of the Obesity-Related Illnesses, like the other 200,000 people in America each year who die from fatness and inactivity (according to U.S. CDC)?
