Im in the process of flashing an ocean over to the green K. Ive called Helio multiple times only to find out they cant get me the SPC (MSL) because the old account was canceled. Im completely clueless on how to get it and thats all I need. Everything else seems like a piece of cake, but I just need this dang SPC

Any clue? Any of you awesome cricket guys got my back? Get back at me ASAP
 
Do you have CDMA Workshop? Try useing that.

If you can read its file system with BitPim, look in the NVM folder. Try looking in NVM_0002, and NVM_Security.

You will see a 4 digit code, a few lines down a 6 digit code, a period, and another 6 digit code. The Second 6 digit nuraber is the MSL.

Do you have the original Helio packing list that was sent to you? If so, its also on that.

If all else fails you need a memory reader like UniCDMA. You will have to scan the memory for readable areas. Then start dumping to a file. Open the file with notepad and search for "33284". The MSL will be on the same line as that, and in the same format as I posted above.
 
Lol I've flashed the Ocean and know a thing or two on what you have to do to get the service working and find the SPC. Just so you know the MMS and WAP will be a no go because they have locked up so tight that its hopeless! Feel free to send me a pm if you want help.

Beezle and I were thinking about sniffing/intercepting it somehow when we sent it to the phone with CDMA Workshop but we never did it because we just don't do enought of them.

I have yet to confirm that it works with UNICDMA. But you know I'll try it with the next one I get.
 
I'm a fairly intelligent person, but I can't get this to work. Is there something I'm missing? I am using CDMA Workshop 2.7.0. I click Connect, connects fine. I go to the Security tab, and under Password there is a radio button that allows me to select from a dropdown or enter my own text. I've tried every corabination of these and I still cannot get my SPC. Please be as specific as possible on how to do this.

Another (probably stupid) question: what do you mean put it in DM mode?
 
Tetter.... under security tab. on left side.. u should se a long row of FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, right above it. is a drop down menu. the Ocean is PN810, go down to almost very bottom. click on PN810. then send it. it will show u ur spc code in spc code box. then u should send in spc. write to all 0's so u dont ever 4 get it :P

cdma workshop should put it in dm mode for u automatically. connect to right com port. click qcdm or read. then send in code. actually pretty simple with cdma workshop
