When You Put it in did You Splice the Wires Together Or was it Plug and Play ?

If You Spliced Then you Probley have the head unit Remote wire Hooked To A Constant 12V Source you need To Find it and Hook It Up To The Right Wire Or Run It To Your Radio Fuse In The fuse Box

If You Never Spliced it then find the wire that is Going to That Same head unit Remote and cut it from the Main side of your harness then run it to the fuse box or find a wire that only comes on when you turn the key ahead you can do that with A volt meter

Even when the cars ignition is off all of the lights are still shining brightly
