This might seem like sort of a weird question, but I'm just curious (Tattoo related)?

I was just wondering - if someone gets a tattoo in jail/prison, is it different than the other tattoos? Like can people tell a difference between prison tattoos and non-prison tattoos? Meaning if someone got a tattoo in jail/prison and then were out in public after they were released could other people tell that it was a "prison tattoo", or would there be no real difference and just seem like any other tattoo? This question isn't meant to be offensive in any shape or form. I'm simply asking out of my curiosity. Also, please don't post any offensive answers. If you don't like tattoos or want to make a stupid prison joke just to get points, do yourself (and everyone else here) and favor and don't bother posting. No one enjoys reading offensive material...
To the first person who answered - Oh ok... I didn't figure there was any difference or any big "I'm a prison tattoo!" signal, but I wanted to ask to see. Thanks for your answer. I agree completely with you. Tattoos aren't illegal and people should be able to do with their body whatever they want. That's why I asked that no offensive answers be left.
I know that prision tattoos are different from regular ones by the way they're done because obviously they don't have all the proper equipment needed behind bars. What I meant by "not much difference between them" was them being noticeable as in people can automatically know a prison tattoo from a regular one. Could just an everyday person know that the tattoo was a prison tattoo and not a regular one done by a real, appropriate professional?
Oh and no this isn't gang related by any means. I mean just regular tattoos (names, simple pictures, etc...) that have been done in prison.
