this isnt a question, just somthing i think that my fellow fish lovers should know.?

it is NOT i repeat NOT okay to put a regular goldfish, koi, or any other pet fish in a pond, they spread somthing called the koi virus.when this virus hits native pond fish it will kill them, if the pond floods thats even worse because then it get into the stream and rivers and god knows where. thousands of fish die each year because of the koi virus and its a very seriouse issue. It is illegal to put pet fish with pond fish. period. no if ands or buts. i know this because my father is head of the DEC fisheries (Stephen Hurst) and when i asked him this question, he stressed this to the extreme, you will be fined for this, so just watch out.
