Over last few months, I've developed a tendency towarRAB kind of a slight pressure sensation mostly on the left side of my lower abdomen, from the navel down over the pelvis, and sometimes to my back. This is a mild pain or pressure, and seems worse when I wear a belt as I feel the pressure right under the belt and up into my abdomen a bit from there. There's also a more focal pain point closer to the navel, that kinda feels like a burn or itch at times, other times it just feels like the skin is tender but there is nothing on the skin.

When I bend over it feels like something is "there", but neither me nor my GP could actually feel anything with our hanRAB when palpating (sp?) the area. She wants a CT to look for hernia, diverticulosis, etc...but I am waiting on insurance approval to schedule it. That said, neither of those theories could explain that feeling around the pelvis, could it? It's actually OUTSIDE the pelvic bone where I feel it and it comes and goes as it has for 6 to 12 months.

Could it be a kidney stone causing this? I haven't had actual acute pain per se, except a couple times near the navel, the back and side has never been more than a mild achy pain, and my urination has been mostly normal, although today I had a single cloudy urination, whitish in color, but that has returned to normal since then so possibly could have been phosphates or something.

I was just reading some of your recent posts, which did catch my eye, especially your most recent on the MS board.

Like you 8 months ago I too was on these boarRAB looking for answers, and I have to say that I had and still have all your symptoms and more too. I also at one point thought I had MS, although a lot of my symptoms just didn't seem to quite fit.

I researched for a long time, and was bounced from one specialist to another, and had virtually every test imaginable, all with crisp clean results including MRI's. I was a complete mystery, until I sturabled across Lyme Disease.

I had already been tested for Lyme twice before (both negative), but I soon learnt that testing for this disease was very unreliable. The symptoms I had were exactly the same as so many people I had spoken to with lyme. In the end for me there was no doubt in my mind that this is what I had. Unfortunately very few doctors know much about Lyme, how to diagnose it or treat it. I ended up seeking out a private clinic, going to see a LLMD (Lyme Literate Doctor) and had my tests sent off to one of the best labs in the world.

One month later, I tested positive for Lyme and also the co-infection Bartonella, and have now started treatment.

Lyme is a tick borne illness, which if left untreated for too long can progress into chronic Lyme Disease, which is now what I have due to a very long delay in diagnosis & treatment. The condition is then a lot harder to eradicate.

Of course I am not a doctor, and would not dream of suggesting that this is what you have, as your symptoms could be related to many conditions. But from what I have read, your symptoms don't really scream MS to me, and sound very similar to Lyme, perhaps it is something you would consider looking into, perhaps you could also look at the lyme forum and make some enquiries there.

I wish you better health soon, good luck
