Many people have told me that when a person loves another person so much, he or she will be willing to sacrifice his or her life for the person. This will be a sign of love and selflessness.
However, if the person truly love the other person, shouldn't he or she live? If the person dies and the other person remains alive, wouldn't the living person be in pain and is the one suffering instead? In that case, instead of love and selflessness...isn't that just selfish?
