One of my co-workers (who is white) stated that she would not vote for Obama because Michelle is racist. That prompted me to look up this "telling" thesis Michelle wrote while attending Princeton.
As a black female, I am offended, but not surprised, that her words have been twisted for the benefit of finger-pointers. In chosen passages, it did not state that Michelle wanted to elevate black people over whites, but she does state that she will use her position and education to help the black community.
How is that being a racist, to want to help your own. So many politician forget about us, until it is election time. I, for one, am impressed that being a Princeton graduate, she has not forgotten her roots, or where she came from. Many a black Ivy-leauger have forgotten their roots, in a effort to "blend in". If that offends you, then perhaps you should ask yourself why and remember what they say about pointing fingers, there's always 3 pointed back at you.
