this is new eror i phone software could not be contracted wht is this

hi there i an trying to flsh my i phone in recovry mode but every time i try to conect my ui phone with i itunes it gives me this eror that {i phone software update could not be contracted } wht can i do to fix this plz help so much work pending
 
First - Try to check your internet connetion.
Second - Try to check your host file.
