well honestly my most difficult challenge was the fact that senior drill sergeant was nearly identical to my fiance. my fiance was a light skinned african american, 6'3, with gray eyes. my SDS was 6'2, light skinned african american, with blue eyes. they had the same features and everything! (my fiance passed away a few years ago - we had long since split up-he didn't want to move to tx).
i was in JROTC in high school (cadet sgm by my junior yr), so i went to "summer camp" at Ft. Jackson, SC, so i did victory tower, and everything my sophomore yr. those things aren't really that hard.
the physical training wasn't either (i wrestled in high school along with the PT in JROTC-we actually did ours). so i usually maxed out on my pushups (for women it was only 19 to pass and 42 to max-in 2 minutes), i did have a have a bit more trouble with the runs, i only came in about 2 and a half minutes before i HAD to (min. 19 min 45 secs-i did 17 min 32 secs-but then again i had to walk most of the 2 miles because i partially dislocated my right hip-looooong story).
be prepared to be punished as a group when one person screws up.
