Yesterday I was told that a search of my home was invalid since the police began the search prior to obtaining a warrant. There was no danger, the house was empty, and no one fleeing the law. They actually brought my ex husband whom was arrested 15 miles away to my house and he didn't even have a key! He kept his cars in my garage where they found contraband which is not listed anywhere because they didn't have a warrant. I'd just like to know where I can find this law documented in black and white.
