...shooting indicted, but not for murder? TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) All four suspects arrested following the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry were indicted on felony immigration charges. According to an attorney representing one of the suspects, the four were charged with illegal re-entry and other misdemeanor immigration charges.
Leslie Bowman told KGUN9 News, she has no information on any charges related to the killing of Brian Terry.
Border bandits gunned down Terry near Rio Rico on December 14. Shortly after, agents arrested the four suspects near the shooting. They were appointed lawyers through the Federal Public Attorney's Office.
Bowman who represents one of the suspects told KGUN9 News she and the other attorneys still do not know anything about a fifth or sixth suspect. Several weeks ago, the U.S. Marshal's Office said two more suspects were in custody.
Bowman said the arraignment is set for January 28 11:00am at the Federal Courthouse in Tucson.
