Hello!! I have a hw assignment about this debate but it's hard because i'm not really for this. We are working on a debate, i'm in the group that supports lowering the drinking age. I got the intro and it has to be about 5 min long!!!
I need like two attention grabbers to start out with, and to make time. This is kind of hard because i can't figure out any type of reasonable stories that will be supportive. I would like to find two examples or stories for attention grabbers. Our teams position in the debate is for lowering the drinking age. I would also like to know if there's any words or terms about this debate that you might know that need to be define.
The major arguments our team will raise during the debate are;
-Alcohol is not all bad.
-Its not holding back 18 year old from drinking it.
Could you think of more arguments??
I also have to think of what arguments my opponent will try to use.
I so far have;
-Dangers of drinking
-And drunk driving
Could you think of more arguments??
I also need to show evidence to counteract them??
