There's this guy that I would consider a good acquaintance. We talk and we joke sometimes. But the thing is, he'll flirt with me a lot, but it seems to happen when I don't approach him first. When I approach him and say "hi" to him because I think he's a nice guy, he'll say "hi" back but he won't really look me in the eye and talk in short, quick sentences and kind of keep walking. But then other times, especially if I'm busy working, he'll come up to me and pull my hood over my head, or give me hugs, ask me why I started working without him, tap me, and just friendly flirting. So it's confusing because I don't understand what he thinks of me. I like him as a person but I want to know - why does he act like that? Does he dislike me? Should I not talk to him? He's weird. Not necessarily hot and cold - but warm, then lukewarm.
Sometimes if I see him, he'll randomly ask me about my boyfriend. Just how he's doing or if I say something like, "I missed you over break!" he'll say, "Did you miss [bf's name]?" My boyfriend is pretty jealous so maybe that has something to do with it?
