I dont know if part of me is buying due to one being 2 disks and having great reviews (even though i watched it once and didnt think too much of it) and has a black and white version and the other is an old classic which ive never really seen before and dont know if its worth it at all.

Buying them is a investment because of this but with them both being on many sites 2 for

The mist on blu ray is well worth buying, the black and white version is really good adRAB a whole new dimension to the film in my opinion, gives it that classic 50s and 60s vibe that it was clearly a homage of. Can't comment on Bonnie and Clyde on blu ray as i havent seen it on blu ray, have seen it on normal dvd and it's a fantastic film as I am sure you are aware.

I find this website very helpful for exhaustive blu ray reviews www.highdefdigest.com

Here is the link for the review of Bonnie and Clyde http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/1269/bonnieandclyde.html

Finally have you checked www.amazon.co.uk recently? they have a large selection of blu rays from

Im a big fan of cult movies and most are either from America or over here their expensive. For instance theres a few BFI Blu rays id like but theres zero chance of them being on any kind of discount.

Im thinking of maybe watching bonnie and clyde first and seeing what i think, when i really think about it i cant put my finger on why i wanna see it. Maybe because ive read nice reviews and havent seen it. Maybe its the fact that its a known classic and maybe its just because a lot of my favourite films are from that era and i just wanna see how good it looks. The mist i liked.....i saw it earlier than usual *coughs* and it looked to me.....like a tv movie. Some of it was cringeworthy. But theres something in me that makes me wanna buy it, and the black and white version has rave reviews. Then again im watching on a 32" tv and i suppose certain films you need a decent sized image to truly appreciate them. Ive looked through many sites and i still keep going back to these films.
