Thinking About Modding my e61: Paint Suggestions?

Hey all, thinking about doing a mod to my e61 (getting bored with the silver), something along the lines of the freakin' gorgeous Voodoo e61... wondering what kind of paint you guys would recommend? Should I put a gloss finish on it?

Who all has done some case modding before, any suggestions?

Like that. freakin pimp. www.mytego.com. Only drawback is they don't do the keys, so I'd still have silver keys. There's a company called gmask that'll do the whole freakin thing, but i couldn't figure out how to create one.
 
ROFL, Ok what I MEANT was, what TYPE of paint should i use, not what COLOR??

Haven't decided on color yet, though I'm not sure i'm down with Camo (don't wnat to lose my e61 when i'm crawling through the brush, now do I?)

I've checked out gmask, but they're only in Asia right now (don't need to mod my phoen so bad that i'm sending it 4000 miles).

im getting mine doen today. it should be done in a few hours ill post pics if it turns out good. the guy who is doing it is a friend of mine. he paints motorcycles and helemts. he does great work but this is his first phone paint job. he says the paint is expensive. what price are people willing to pay for this?
 
hmm. i have modded a few samsung flippers. for the home modder krylon fusion is a dream. and if your phone is some sort of metal (e61/e62/e50) use just regular krylon. practice on some pieces of plastic/metal first. so you can figure out what sort of texture you want. technique is important

Ok, so krylon is fine with me, and I'll do some practicing... would you recommend dipping or brushing on?

hrm.. high end modding company based in the states. For the truly lazy we can do multiple theme creations and firmware updates. That would be kind of cool, just don't think there's a market.
 
Are you kidding me? If a freakin' bazillion clueless morons can buy a RAZR because it 'looks cool'... and then a million more idiots buy it because 'it's pink!', you can definitely make some money for someone who says to you 'yo dudez can u mak3 my f0n l33t? I wantz bling3d prple br0!'

I'm telling you, a good quality gadget personalizing shop would make a fortune!

i would try automotive spray paint!! you get more colors with it. as for color its up to you but my sugestion would be for a very shiny black or the chameleon color (^_^)
