i saw a 1996 buick in teal at a dealers today 30,000miles owned by some little old lady before, in like new condition no scratches SLIGHT wear on the inside. drove the car around the block and didnt see any problems. they are asking for 5,000$. automatic transmission, power lock, windows, seats. decent car (even though im a teen and i feel like a granny should be driving it) it has no stains and doesnt smell like some ciggy smoker was in it. very clean. is 5,000$ right. any negatives about the car i should know? its my first car and im thinking with such low miles in a few years i will be able to resell it easier than something with like 80,000 when i can afford something better. thanks!

Buick regal is perfectly fine. Its nice car and I've been using it since a year ago. In my buick regal I don't have cd player, but only have cassette player that is bad about it however you may have that. I'd brought 1998 buick regal for $2500 last year. But its milage is like 90000 miles and it is clean as well. you can invest in buick. I bet its worth.

"Book" price is meaningless. It only gives a guide of what it MAY be worth. The actual value is determined by condition. Look on Craigslist and auto trader to see what people are trying to get for them in similar condition. I would demand to see verification of the supposed low mileage. It also may not have had any maintenance done so those miles and age would have worked against it's value. The most that dealer would have given is about $2000.

Go to Kelly Blue Book online to find out the real price. Also I would check and see what a simalar one is selling for on E-Bay. The one you describe sounds like its overpriced about 1500.00.
