My husband and I recently bought a very gently used 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 108k miles for $6995. The Blue Book value for it was about a grand more so we think we got a good deal. It runs really smooth, doesn't make a sound, under the hood is clean, no leaks, etc. It's a 4dr Limited 4WD with a 4.7L V8 engine. It's fully loaded with the 10-disc CD changer, heated seats, etc. We got it on the spot too. We had originally just gone to look but fell in love with it and didn't want it to be sold by the time we came back which would probably be in another week or two. We live in Colorado so we needed a 4WD vehicle for the snow. Right now we have an '02 Chevy Cavalier that we take excellent care of. So now that I'm finally getting to the point, if we keep up regular maintenance and keep the vehicle well-maintained, how many more miles should we expect to have it for? Are there common problems we should keep in mind for the future? We saw an inspection sheet and it passed all the inspections with flying colors. Our free tune-up is in 30 days. Should I ask any kinds of questions about the vehicle? Should I ask them to check on certain parts of the vehicle? Thank you!
